Run Trend Trading bots with TradingView Custom Signals
Trend Trading bots are trend-following bots. It will start the deal ifdeal start signal trigger and close the deal only when deal close signal trigger. Users can choose Trend as Long or Short while creating the bot.
Step-By-Step Guide
Create Bot
1. Go to the Trend Trading Bots page and click Create Bot button.
2. Select "TradingView Custom Signal" as your Trend Trading bot's strategy.
3. After you create a bot. Go to the bot details page.
4. At bottom of the Bot Details page you can find TradingView Signal URLs. You need to use those two URLs to connect your Deal Start signal and Deal Close signal separately.
Connect TradingView Alert
Now you need to create Alert on TradingView.com and connect it to the bot through webhook notification.
**To create webhook notifications your TradingView account's subscription need to be Pro or higher.
1. On the TradingView chart page click Alert icon and it will display a popup.
2. You need to create two separate Alerts for Deal Start and Deal Close signals.
After you set your Deal Start alert conditions, select Webhook URL as Alert actions and paste the bot's Deal Start Signal URL there.
Then create a new alert for Deal Close Signal and paste the bot's Deal Close Signal URL there.
Bots won't use Message field. So you can keep it empty or put any text on there and create alerts.
Now you have successfully connected the TradingView alert with your Trend Trading bot. So when the TradingView alerts trigger bot place market orders and start/close deals. If you have any further questions ask here.
