Who can trade Arcus perps
Before applying for perps access, check whether Arcus is available in your region. Arcus is not available in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, or other restricted jurisdictions.
Arcus assesses spot and perpetual trading separately, so access to one product does not guarantee access to the other. Users in restricted regions may still view public market data, but they cannot place or change orders. Check the Arcus terms for the current restrictions.
A waitlist position, invite code, referral link, or Coinner account cannot bypass Arcus's regional eligibility rules.
Current access status
Arcus spot Stock Tokens and perpetuals have separate access requirements. Spot Stock Tokens do not require perps approval. To trade perpetuals, an eligible account must receive access from Arcus before it can place an order.
There are currently two documented routes to perps access:
- Waitlist approval. Join the Arcus waitlist and wait for Arcus to enable trading on your account.
- Invite code. Redeem an unused invite code from an existing Arcus trader.
Joining the waitlist does not guarantee approval or a specific activation date. Arcus controls access and may change the process over time.
How the Arcus waitlist works
Joining the waitlist is free and does not require trading. You connect an EVM wallet and an X account, then follow Arcus on X. Arcus has publicly listed several factors that can affect your position:
- Referrals from people who join through your waitlist link.
- Previous perps volume on venues such as dYdX, Hyperliquid, and Lighter.
- Previous real-world asset trading volume through venues such as HIP-3, Cash, and TradeXYZ.
- Linking a dYdX v4 wallet address.
Arcus controls the weighting and has adjusted it over time. Treat these as ranking factors, not a fixed formula. Your position on the Arcus waitlist page is the current source of truth.
How invite codes work
Arcus traders earn one invite code for every $1 million in lifetime perps volume. Each code can be used once and grants perps trading access to the eligible account that redeems it.
Redeeming a code also links the new account to the code owner's referral. It does not override regional restrictions or other eligibility checks. See the Arcus invite-code documentation for the current requirements.
How the referral program works
Arcus has a three-level referral program. T1 covers traders you refer directly, while T2 and T3 cover the next two levels in the referral network. The T1 commission rate depends on the referrer's fee tier; T2 and T3 use fixed rates across tiers.
A referred trader may receive a fee discount set when the referral is registered. That discount does not add a fee for the trader. Instead, it is deducted from the referrer's T1 commission, with the result never falling below zero.
Rates can change, so use the Arcus commission schedule rather than relying on a rate quoted elsewhere.
Has Arcus announced a token?
A future Arcus token has been discussed publicly, but Arcus has not published official tokenomics, allocation details, eligibility rules, snapshot criteria, or a launch date.
Waitlist rank, referrals, invite codes, and trading activity should not be presented as guaranteed airdrop eligibility. Treat token or airdrop claims as unconfirmed unless Arcus publishes them through an official channel.
Connect Coinner after you get access
Once perps trading is enabled on your Arcus account, Coinner can automate strategies across its 24/7 crypto, stock, and ETF perpetual markets.
Coinner connects through a trade-only API key authorized by your wallet. It can manage orders but cannot withdraw your funds. Your assets remain in your Arcus account, and you can revoke the key when you no longer want Coinner to trade for you. Coinner does not charge a subscription fee.
- Grid bots place buy and sell orders across a defined price range.
- DCA bots open or reduce a position gradually.
- Copy bots mirror traders from the Arcus leaderboard.
- TradingView bots turn your alerts into orders.
Before running a bot on a stock or ETF perp, learn how Arcus handles funding, margin, and price bands when the underlying market is closed.
You can also compare Arcus with dYdX, Hyperliquid, or Aster. Ready to automate? See Arcus trading bots.
